Mark’s areas of interest and expertise are Cardiac Ultrasound (Echocardiography), Pacemakers and Defibrillators (Electrophysiology).
National Diploma: Clinical Technology (Cardiology); Baccalaureus Technologiae: Clinical Technology (Cardiology).
Areas of interest within Cardiac Sonography / Ultrasound (Echocardiography), Electrophysiology (pacemakers, ICD’s & cardiac resynchronisation therapy) as well as Hemodynamics & Physiology (angiography & percutaneous cardiac interventions).
Rachel has extensive experience working in health care for more than 20 years, in close conjunction with hospitals and General Practitioners. Most recently, Rachel played an integral role in the establishment of SmartClinics Family Medical Centres, and was Materials Writer for the compilation of the Diploma of Practice Management.
Rachel has worked in varied healthcare environments including Practice Management Consultancy Services and as the Co-ordinator of Medical Services for the Tweed Heads & Murwillumbah District Hospitals. At St Andrew’s War Memorial Hospital in Brisbane, Rachel was part of the Senior Management Team for UnitingCare Health, contributing to the running of five private hospitals.
