During the monitoring, adhesive electrodes may be placed on the patient’s chest or arms and legs. A signal is transmitted from the device itself and connected to a programmer for analysis and testing.
Tracings acquired during the recording are analysed by a Cardiologist and a report is forwarded to the patient’s referring Doctor.
What to bring/what to wear
- Wear a two-piece outfit, preferably loose fitting, as this enables the electrodes to be connected in a discreet manner.
