Dr Cummins completed his medical degree at the University of New South Wales, graduating with Honours in 2011. He subsequently completed his Physician/Cardiology Advanced Training at Prince of Wales, Sutherland, St George and Port Macquarie Base Hospitals.
Dr Cummins first moved to Port Macquarie during his Internship/Residency. He returned as a Specialist Cardiologist in early 2020.
Dr Cummins has special interests in Cardiac Imaging (including CT Coronary Angiography and Echocardiography) and general Clinical Cardiology (including Coronary and Valvular Heart Disease, Heart Failure and Rhythm Disturbances).
He is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians, a Conjoint Associate Lecturer at the University of New South Wales, and a Level A Registered CTCA Specialist.
Having grown up in rural NSW, he is passionate about ensuring patients in our local area have access to comprehensive and individualised specialist Cardiology care.
